Portfolio Managers

Kaylynn is a second-year reading Economics and Management at St. Hugh’s College. She has previously interned in the fixed income and equity derivatives department. Her interest in investing stems from her experience of running an online business and understanding how business models work.  She joined the fund as an analyst and decided to continue as a PM following the enjoyable experience of producing a pitch and valuable guidance she received as an analyst.

Kenny is a second year Economics and Management student at Balliol College. He was drawn to public markets after pitching a leveraged buyout of digital classifieds company, Scout24, as part of a case competition run by Oxford's Said Business School. He has interned at several technology start-ups and a middle-market investment bank based in London. This summer, he will be joining Jefferies' Investment Banking Division.

Michael is a second-year PPEist in Oriel College. He rediscovered a love for investing at his first Alpha Fund meeting in HT18, when he heard a fund member pitch Naver. Michael has interned at a Value Oriented EM Fund and a multi-family office fund of funds. He is an incoming summer analyst for Fixed Income at GIC, with rotations in Macro and Corporate Credit. Michael loves having conversations about what we value and why, and is passionate about mental health.

He was intrigued by how the analyst dissected the commercial aircraft value chain to find the most attractive investment opportunity. He joined the fund as an analyst and the experience drove him to continue as a PM. He also plays basketball for the university.

Mark Chin, President  Mark is a third year biochemist at Somerville College. He was first exposed to the financial markets during his national service and has been investing & trading his personal account ever since. Mark has interned at GIC, rotated across the FICC trading desks at DBS, and has also done spring weeks at Barclays and BNP Paribas. He will be interning this summer at Morgan Stanley in London and will be joining the Point72 Academy in New York upon graduation.
