Portfolio Managers

Kaylynn Teh   Kaylynn is a second-year reading Economics and Management at St. Hugh’s College. She previously interned in fixed income and equity derivatives departments. Her interest in investing stems from her experience of running an online business and understanding how business models work.  Having joined the fund as an analyst, she decided to continue as a PM following the enjoyable experience of producing a pitch and valuable guidance she received as an analyst. Kaylynn will be headed to PJT Partners this summer.

Kaylynn Teh

Kenny Jeong   Kenny is a second year Economics and Management student at Balliol College. He was drawn to public markets after pitching a leveraged buyout of digital classifieds company, Scout24, as part of a case competition run by Oxford's Said Business School. He has interned at several technology start-ups and a middle-market investment bank based in London. This summer, he will be joining Jefferies' Investment Banking Division.

Kenny is a second year Economics and Management student at Balliol College. Adya Singh   Adya is a Masters in Financial Economics student at the Saïd Business School, with an undergraduate degree in Economics. She spent three years working with Barclays in their Fixed Income Financing team doing trading and analytics out of Mumbai. This summer, she will intern with Morgan Stanley's Fixed Income Research team in London.  Adya has varied interests ranging from art and craft to whiskey and rifle shooting, and is passionate about educating people on feminism.

Lee Chang Rong   Chang Rong is a second-year PPEist at Teddy Hall. He was drawn to Alpha Fund for its research-driven, contrarian, and bottom-up approach to investing. He believes that the best returns are obtained by investing in people, and hopes that the fund becomes a platform that champions those who are passionate about investing. He will be joining Deutsche Bank’s investment banking team this coming summer.

Lee Chang Rong

Chang Rong is a second-year PPEist at Teddy Hall. He was drawn to Alpha Fund for its research-driven, contrarian, and bottom-up approach to investing. He believes that the best returns are obtained by investing in people, and hopes that the fund becomes a platform that champions those who are passionate about investing. He will be joining Deutsche Bank’s investment banking team this coming summer.

Tan Jun   Jun is a penultimate undergraduate studying Economics and Management. He was interested in the fund after hearing the Fund’s Safran pitch, and particularly intrigued by how the commercial aircraft value chain was dissected to find the most attractive investment opportunity.  He joined the fund as an analyst and the experience drove him to continue as a PM.  Outside of his academic pursuits, Jun also plays basketball for the university.

Tan Jun

Jun is a penultimate undergraduate studying Economics and Management. He was interested in the fund after hearing the Fund’s Safran pitch, and particularly intrigued by how the commercial aircraft value chain was dissected to find the most attractive investment opportunity.

He joined the fund as an analyst and the experience drove him to continue as a PM.

Outside of his academic pursuits, Jun also plays basketball for the university.

Michael Leong   Michael is a second-year PPEist at Oriel College. He rediscovered a love for investing at his first Alpha Fund meeting in HT18, when he heard a fund member’s Naver pitch. Michael has interned at a Value Oriented EM Fund and a multi-family office fund of funds. He is an incoming summer analyst for Fixed Income at GIC, with rotations in Macro and Corporate Credit. Michael loves having conversations about what we value and why, and is passionate about mental health.
